I just decided to change our little guy's name on here to ensure privacy protection. I'm pretty certain that I didn't need to take that step, but I'm being cautious just in case. Of course, his first and last initials form a name that wouldn't be good to refer to him as. If you know him, you can figure out that little word. Plus, his first initial by itself would get pretty awkward so I have decided to call him X-Man here. If you have followed along with our life the past two years, you will know why. Now on to a real update.
We were visited by someone who tracks X-Man's progress this week. She had not seen him since about 10 months ago. He decided not to nap that day and was kind of a crazy little guy while she was here. She was reading me her report from last March and asking for additions. As I distractedly tried to keep him happy and answer her questions I began to panic that he had not made any progress in 10 months. She wanted me to give her a list of all words he is signing and saying. I was really not doing well thinking on the spot so I thought I should make a list of words that he says often so I can reference it when asked again. I'll probably add to it over the week as he reminds me of things he says and signs. One new thing he is doing a lot is gesturing. Like for instance when he is not a big fan of the food I put on his dinner plate, he gestures to our pantry as if to say "Can't you find something better in that magical place?"
